The well-branched plants with striking black stems can reach up to 5 feet tall in areas with warm nights, in cooler areas they top out at about 2 feet. Blooms from midsummer until frost. Perfect for containers and indoors.
Parts of this plants are poison. 8-10" long double or triple purple and white trumpets are borne throughout the warmest months. The uniquely colored cornucopia-like blooms and nearly black foliage create a striking contrast. Also known as Devil's Trumpet, due to the poisonous properties of this member of the Nightshade family.
