Agave gentryi 'jaws': Agave seeds can be sown in spring on a well-draining soil mix. Sow the seeds on the soil surface and press them lightly into the soil. Keep the soil lightly moist and place the pot in a warm, bright spot out of direct sunlight. Germination can be slow and irregular, but should occur within 4-8 weeks.
